Wellington · 3–25 person businesses

Get up to speed with AI — without giving your customer list to the internet.

Fixed-price help. Microsoft where you already pay for it. Local models where privacy matters. In six weeks you can know what is allowed, have a staff rule, and take one admin job off the list.

TimTech Limited · NZBN 9429052361081 · Computer consultancy

The problem is not that AI exists

Your staff are already using ChatGPT. Some of that is useful. Some of it is a customer file sitting in a consumer app you never approved.

You do not need a transformation programme. You need to know what is safe under the Privacy Act 2020, train the people who do the work, and finish one painful admin job.

How we work

Three things. Then we leave it with a named person.

01

Tell you the truth

Where AI saves hours. Where it does not. Where it creates a privacy problem. The owner has to be in the room.

02

Train on your real work

Quotes, job notes, enquiries — not toy demos. Approved tools only. Everyone uses the rule, not just hears it.

03

Ship one working system

One repeating job, live, tested, handed over. Or Copilot set up so it does not blow a hole in your file share.

GST exclusive

Published prices. Packages, not hours.

Software licences — Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT Team — are always extra and named in the quote.

Who this is for

  • Trades and field service
  • Clinics and wellness
  • Tourism, transport and events
  • Small professional firms
  • Specialty food

Owner in the room. Someone named to own the system after handover. Already on Microsoft 365 or Xero — or willing to use what you already pay for.

Who this is not for

  • Enterprises wanting a 40-page strategy deck
  • Anyone who wants an unsupervised “AI employee”
  • A chatbot bolted to a website with no process behind it
  • Anyone who will not accept a written use rule

If the honest answer is “write a one-page rule and stop pasting names into ChatGPT,” we will tell you that on the fit call.

Start here

Two sentences. Then a 30-minute call.

Email is enough. Say what eats the week, and whether customer details currently go into ChatGPT or something like it.

Wellington, Hutt, Porirua and Kapiti on site. Remote for everyone else.

Questions owners actually ask

Will this replace staff?

No. It takes typing and chasing off their plate so they can do the job you hired them for.

Is this legal under the Privacy Act?

New Zealand does not have a separate AI Act. The Privacy Act 2020 still applies. You stay responsible for personal information. We help you pick tools and rules that match that. This is not legal advice.

Do I have to buy Microsoft Copilot?

Only if it is the right tool. Many businesses should start with the Copilot Chat they already have, plus a staff rule.

Can government co-funding pay for this?

Sometimes. The Regional Business Partner Network can subsidise management training. A separate AI advisory pilot has co-funded eligible advice through approved providers, with a cap and an end date. Ask your WellingtonNZ growth advisor. Do not assume TimTech is on a government panel unless we say so in writing. The packages stand at the published price either way.

Do you lock us into a retainer?

No. Projects stand alone. Retainers exist so what we built does not die.
